Why Do Consumers Choose Natural Therapies?

Do you have a relative that was told by their doctor that "there is nothing we can do?"

Many consumers are getting tired of not getting better. They are being told that "Nothing can be done." Or "We don't know what causes this ailment and all your tests are normal" despite that fact that major symptoms continue to occur.  They are also tired of drug advertisements and their doctors prescribing a new drug every appointment with a health complaint.  Many patients are tired of the side effects they are experiencing from one or more pharmaceutical drugs. How many of these patients are aware that safer alternatives exist?

Complementary and Alternative (CAM) practitioners focus on getting to the underlying cause for the condition and healing the patient holistically by using safe "prescriptions" and non-invasive, non-toxic alternatives.  Many of these therapies such as homeopathy, herbal medicine and energy healing, have withstood the test of time and proven safety and effectiveness, yet current administrative agencies do not consider these to meet the current "standard of care", which is an unwritten set of guidelines based on what the average conventional doctor would prescribe in a certain situation.
